In Acrimony 2, the sequel to Tyler Perry’s 2018 psychological thriller, the story delves into the aftermath of Melinda’s (Taraji P. Henson) tragic disappearance. The narrative focuses on her estranged younger sister, Vanessa, who inherits Melinda’s diary, revealing her troubled marriage to Robert (Lyriq Bent) and her downfall.
Vanessa begins investigating Robert’s current life with his new wife, Diana, and their thriving business empire. Obsessed with bringing justice to Melinda, Vanessa believes Robert has manipulated and destroyed her sister’s life.
