Hotel Transylvania: A Family-Friendly Monster Comedy
Hotel Transylvania is a popular animated film franchise created by Sony Pictures Animation. The first movie was released in 2012, directed by Genndy Tartakovsky, and quickly became a hit for its mix of comedy, heart, and spooky-but-cute monster fun.
The Story
The series centers on Count Dracula, voiced by Adam Sandler (later Brian Hull in the fourth film), who runs a luxury hotel for monsters, hidden away from humans. Dracula is an overprotective single father raising his daughter, Mavis (voiced by Selena Gomez). Over the films, the hotel becomes the stage for hilarious chaos, romance, and family challenges as humans and monsters learn to coexist.
