After the nightmare mission into the Red Zone, Su-an and Joon barely survive the collapsing train corridor. But survival comes at a cost.

The children they rescued are not safe.

They are changing.

Unlike anything seen before, this new strain of infection does not spread like a virus—it rewrites the body slowly, silently, as if it is learning how to become human again.

And Busan Station is not dead.

It is waking up.

PART II: THE RETURN ROUTE

Weeks after the mission, Su-an discovers a classified military transmission:
an automated signal still running beneath Busan’s underground rail system—one that should have been shut down years ago.

But it isn’t just operating.

It is calling.

Calling every remaining train across the peninsula… back to Busan.

Joon believes it is a trap.

Su-an believes it is a chance.

Because one of the rescued children begins to speak in a voice that is not their own.

And it knows Su-an’s name.

THE DEEP LINE

To stop the spreading mutation, Su-an and Joon must descend beneath the ruined station into a forgotten rail network known only as “The Deep Line”—a subterranean system built before the outbreak and sealed off by the military after it began to show impossible activity on its own.

Trains still move there.

But no one drives them.

And every stop feels… inhabited.

Inside the tunnels, they discover the truth:

The infection did not begin in Busan Station.

It was contained there.

For years.

Until someone reopened it.

THE ORIGIN OF REDEMPTION

As the journey descends deeper, Su-an learns the children were never just survivors—they are carriers of something evolving. A bridge between human memory and the infection’s intelligence.

Joon is forced to confront his past as part of the original containment unit—the team that sealed the first outbreak… and lied about what they left behind.

And somewhere beneath the station, something is still waiting on Platform Zero.

Alive.

Patient.

Recognizing Su-an as if she has always belonged there.

FINAL DESCENT

With time running out and the infection spreading beyond control, Su-an must make a choice:

Destroy Busan completely…
or open the final sealed line and discover what the virus has been trying to become all along.

Because in the end…
